U8 and U9 Rep Academy 2024-2025
Announcing Newcastle Stars Rep Academy (MD) for U8 and U9 Players.

As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a brighter future in hockey, the Newcastle Stars Rep Academy proudly offers a transformative program for U8 and U9 players. Designed to combine the thrill of competitive hockey with comprehensive development, our academy is your child's stepping stone to achieving their fullest potential in the sport.

MD (minor development) is residentially OMHA compliant and offered as a step up from LL Select.

These programs are run as REP-like programs with a high focus on development and ice time.

What Sets Our Academy Apart

League Play: Our MD teams will be participating in the Lakeshore MD loop for the 2024-2025 season, guaranteeing a year filled with competitive hockey. This inclusion not only enriches our program but ensures that our players experience a diverse range of competitive play, setting the stage for an exciting and challenging hockey season.

Professional Development: Our program is built on the foundation of enhancing technical skills, tactical knowledge, physical fitness, and mental resilience. Through focused practices, we aim to equip our players with the tools they need to excel both on and off the ice and be successful as they progress in their hockey jounrey.

Competitive Exhibition Games: Experience the excitement of competitive play, where challenging matches serve not just as a test of skill, but as a crucible for building character, teamwork, and a deep-seated love for the game.

Jamborees and Tournaments: Our players will have the opportunity to participate in up to three dynamic events each season. These tournaments are designed to offer a perfect blend of competitive play and fun, providing memorable experiences that last a lifetime.

Exclusive Team Gear: Show your team spirit with a complete set of team uniforms, including jerseys, socks, and tracksuits, ensuring our players look as professional as they feel.

A Community Experience: The Stars Rep Academy is more than just a development program; it's a community. We blend the essence of hometown hockey with the excitement of tiered competition, professional coaching, and unforgettable moments shared with teammates. All this within an environment sanctioned and approved by Hockey Canada.
