Schedule & Results, Tyke Newcastle #1, U8, 2017-2018 (Newcastle Village Minor Hockey Association)

With the second game in the 'Battle of Newcastle', Tyke 2 brought their A game right from drop of the puck...they pinned us in our own end for about the first 10-15 mins and Quinn was outstanding between the pipes in front of a firing squad, Hasek like performance diving and twirling saves to keep it 3-1 half way through...in the end, Tyke 1 finally found their legs and came on strong, but not enough bounces or time left in the game with a couple of late period goals against to seal it! Was great to see Tyke 2 step up after losing 5-3 first game and even it up, see you in the playoffs for the deciding game and cup for 'Battle of Newcastle' bragging rights...LET'S GO NEWCASTLE!!! :)
