📢 CALLING ALL COACHES! NEWCASTLE STARS MINOR HOCKEY NEEDS YOU! 🏒
Newcastle Stars Minor Hockey is now accepting coaching applications for the 2025-26 season! We are looking for passionate and dedicated coaches for both Rep/MD and Local League teams across all age groups, including our newly approved U16 Rep B team!
If you have a love for the game and a commitment to developing young athletes in a positive, competitive, and fun environment, we encourage you to apply. Coaching with the Stars is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future of hockey in our community.
NOTE: If you're interested in coaching a REP team but are waiting to see if your child secures a spot on a higher-level team, please submit an application and note this in the comments section. We are holding off on decisions until after A tryouts.
🔹 POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
✅ Mites (U5) to U18 Local League Coaches
✅ U8/U9 MD to U21 Rep B Coaches (including U16 Rep B)
🔹 REQUIREMENTS:
✔️ Strong leadership and communication skills
✔️ Commitment to player development and sportsmanship
✔️ Coaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
✔️ A valid police check (Vulnerable Sector Screening)
