🚨 ATTENTION HOCKEY PLAYERS AND FAMILIES! 🏒
WERE YOU RECENTLY UNSUCCESSFUL AT “A” TRYOUTS?
Don’t hang up your skates just yet! Your journey is just getting started, and we want YOU at the Newcastle B Centre!
At Newcastle, we have a proud tradition of running highly competitive REP programs from U11 through U18, offering players ample ice time, top-tier coaching, and true development opportunities. With the new open border policy in place, teams are forming with the strongest players going to AAA, and the rest trickling down, making this year’s B programs more competitive than ever.
We’re proud to share that many of our Newcastle players have been scooped up by AAA, AA, and A teams! This is a true testament to the effectiveness of our development program! Helping players grow and reach their full potential is exactly what we aim for. When our players move up, we celebrate their success and wish them all the best on their new teams!
In fact, we purposefully scheduled our B Centre tryouts after A tryouts in other centres to give our players every opportunity to make higher-level teams first, knowing they have a strong, competitive program to return to if needed. Our focus has always been on what's best for our players and their development.
Important Note for U15 and Up Players:
At Newcastle B, hockey is full contact starting at U15. This is crucial for any player with aspirations of advancing to higher levels, as all A, AA, and AAA hockey is full contact. Maintaining and developing these skills is essential for your growth.
Please also be aware that teams labeled BB will be non-contact, so if full-contact experience is a priority for you, Newcastle B is the right place!
If you’re ready to keep building your skills, compete at a high level, and stay on track for your hockey goals, come and try out for Newcastle B!
📅 Newcastle B Centre Tryouts will be running from May 21 to May 31 @ Iroquois Park Sports Centre Pad 6:
