POLICE VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK
A clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) must be filed when someone volunteers for the first time and every third season thereafter. There is a Volunteer Letter available HERE that the applicant can file with their VSC application. The letter will allow the police service to charge the volunteer processing rate.
The VSC must be submitted to the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) directly via the OHF Screening Submission Portal.

It is imperative for all Team Officials to ensure their Vulnerable Sector Check is complete to be eligible to programs on and off the ice. This includes a valid Vulnerable Sector Check and the OHF Screening Declaration Form.

- All documents must be in PDF format to be accepted.
- For the 2024-25 season, the OHF will be accepting copies of a Vulnerable Sector Check from 2022-23 or 2023-24 AND OHF Screening Declaration Form (PDF).
- If you are in the process of obtaining your VSC you can submit the receipt in the mean time to show that it is in progress.
- Note that on the OHF Screening Declaration Form, the 'Member' field should be filled out as 'OMHA'.
