TRYOUTS AND COACH SELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT! The 2023/2024 Season Rep coaches have been confirmed. We had some amazing applicants this year, it was definitely a tough decision for all involved! We truly appreciate all those that took the time to apply. Congratulations to the following applicants:
U11 REP - NEIL WATSON
U13 REP - MIKE ROSS
U15 REP - COREY ROBBINS
U18 REP - BRENDEN SAYERS
REP TRYOUT TIMES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED!
REP Tryouts will take place at South Courtice Arena PAD A on May 23rd, 25th and 29th. Please note the cost is $20 per tryout. Cash will be collected at the door when you sign in.
Here are the following times:
MAY 23, 2023:
6 - 7:00pm - U11 TRYOUT
7 - 8:00pm - U13 TRYOUT
8 - 9:00pm - U15 TRYOUT
9 - 10:00pm - U16 INTEREST SKATE**
MAY 25, 2023:
6-7:00pm - U11 TRYOUT
7-8:30pm - U13 TRYOUT
8:30-10:00pm - U15 TRYOUT
MAY 29, 2023:
6-7:00pm - U11 TRYOUT
7-8:30pm - U13 TRYOUT
8:30-10:00pm - U15 TRYOUT
** For all U16 players currently registered with Newcastle in the U18 division - this skate is to gauge interest and see if a team is possible!
Note that the following OMHA rules apply to U16 REP teams:
- Associations must first be able to host a team at their base category in the U18 division.
- NRP regulations will NOT be available to these teams.
- Residential Rules apply
- There is no Goalie relief.
All skates are $20 payable at the door.
