**Online Registration for the 2024-25 is now open and will close August 31st, 2024. (Or as divisions fill)

** IMPORTANT: Registration fee increases after August 31st by $50 for all divisions

**NEW FOR 2024-25: There is a separate registration for goalies. At the end of the season all goalies that played net for the entire season can apply for a $50 rebate.

Newcastle Mites Program

* Registration for players born in 2020

* Registration Fee: $460


U7 Division (Formerly Initiation)

* Registration for players born in 2018-2019

* Registration Fee: $ 485.00

U8 (Formerly Minor Novice )

* Registration for players born between 2017

* Registration Fee: $ 485.00


U9 through U18 Division  (Formerly Novice through Midget)

* Registration for players born between 2007-2016

* Registration Fee: $ 680.00


The link at the bottom of this page will take you to the Hockey Canada website to register your child with Newcastle Hockey.


You must have an account with Hockey Canada's Online Registration system to be able to register your child. If you have previously registered children online with Hockey Canada's system, then you can proceed to login with your account. 

If you have not registered any participants in the past with this system, you will need to create an account. 

Once you have successfully registered your child you will get a receipt from Hockey Canada.  If you paid by MasterCard, a Netbanx confirmation for the credit card transaction will be emailed as well.

IF ANY DIVISION LISTED ABOVE IS WAIT-LISTED PLEASE PROCEED TO COMPLETE THE WAIT-LIST REGISTRATION ON THE HOCKEY CANADA SITE. EMAILS FOR WAIT-LISTED APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER THROUGH HOCKEY CANADA TO RESERVE A WAIT-LIST POSITION.


How do I update my Credit Card?

To change your credit card, you must go to your Spordle My Account, select payment method, and change your default credit card. Before you can get to the payment of the registration, you must first accept the payment terms and conditions. Check the "I have read and accept the payment terms and conditions" box and then click NEXT to continue. 

Please note any NSF payments are subject to a fee. 

Please also note that installment credit card changes must be done 5 days in advance of the payment.

Payment options when you register:

1) Register and pay in FULL by Credit Card Online.

2) Upon Registration and pay 35% of fee plus the hockey Canada fee per child, then pay by Credit Card with 2 equal payments automatically charged on July 19 and October 18.


Important Information: 

**All requests to play in a higher division will be determined by the Executive Board - U9 (Formerly Novice) and up only due to Hockey Canada rules**


**If you experience any issues registering online, please email the Registrar at [email protected] with all detailed information ie. who you are trying to register, a picture of the error message etc. We will do our best to work with the OMHA to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.


RESPECT IN SPORT - Parent Program

This program is mandatory for all parents/guardians of players registering for the 2024-25 season. No player (under the age of 18 years) will be rostered to ANY team (Representative/House League) until this program has been undertaken by a parent/guardian.
