Grit and Passion at the Millbrook Halloween Hockey Haunt
Yo, what's up hockey fam? It's your boy here, back with another sizzling update from the ice, and lemme tell ya, things got LIT in Millbrook this weekend!

So, the Newcastle Stars? Absolute BEAUTIES, no cap. Right off the jump against the Huntsville Otters, the Stars came out buzzin'. Huntsville took an L with too many dudes on the ice, and bam! #87 Ethan Leerschool lights the lamp, with #10 Gage King, #21 Lou Civello, and the Leerschool bros, Ethan and #77 Owen, tossing in some absolute darts right after. Eastyn Bacon snipes one to close the first, and the Stars end up dusting the Otters 13-0! But big ups to both squads for going all out and giving the fans a show.

Morning tilt against the Ennismore Eagles? Pure rollercoaster vibes, my dudes. Civello and Wood pop the bottle first, but the Eagles answer back real quick. #98 Carter Hutchison puts one in the back of the net for the Stars, even with the sin bin getting crowded. The Eagles edge out a W in an 8-4 result, but every single player out there was vibing hard for the love of puck.

Now, when the Stars went head-to-head with the home squad, Millbrook Stars, things got spicy! Millbrook pots one early, but Newcastle ain't having any of that! They flipped the script with some snipes from King, Bacon, Scott, and Hutchison, cruising to a smooth 7-1 dub and punching their ticket to the semis.

Semi-final action? Bro, it was pure insanity. The Stars were up against the undefeated Shelburne Wolves, and the tension? You could cut it with a knife. Gage King, fed by Carter Hutchison, buries one for the Stars, but the Wolves? They ain’t no pushovers. They rally back, making it rain goals and catching some power play vibes. The Wolves take it home 3-1, but mad respect to both teams for a battle well-fought.

Bottom line? Newcastle Stars and all the other squads were straight fire this tourney! Win or lose, their passion for the game was off the charts. To all the future NHLers out there, keep grindin'. Your love for the game? Priceless. Keep those wheels turning, hands soft, and shots sharp, and I'll catch y'all on the next update!

Peace out! 🏒🚨🤘🔥
